How long does a 100-to-200-amp upgrade take?
Most residential panel swaps are a one-day job. Power is off for part of the day while we transfer circuits and coordinate the utility.
Do I need a permit?
Yes. Panel and service upgrades need an electrical permit and inspection. We handle that as part of the job.
Why replace Federal Pacific or Zinsco panels?
Those breakers have a history of failing to trip. Many insurers now want them replaced. If you have one, we treat replacement as a safety priority.
Do I really need 200 amps?
If you plan an EV charger, heat pump, or large addition, 200 amps is the practical standard. If your 100-amp service covers today's loads, we will say so.
